Appointments

We evaluate instruments and estimate repair costs only via in-person appointment.  Expect your appointment to take 15-20 minutes. Generally speaking we make same-day appointments as soon as one hour before your arrival time, so just give us a call and let us know you'd like to come by!  Call or text (707) 500-0129.  

Consultation

Appointments for repair evaluation do not provide extended consultation. If you are unsure what you want out of your guitar, require more in-depth knowledge on parts, options, or other research, your repair may be subject to an additional consultation fee.  Consultation is billed in 30 minute increments of our shop rate of $135/hr.

Picking up instruments

You will receive an email and usually a phone call letting you know your job is complete. Please let us know when you'd like to come by so we can have your instrument ready for pickup and payment.

Forms of Payment

Payment is taken at the time of pickup. We send an e-invoice that can be paid digitally via PayPal, Apply Pay, GPay and all major credit cards from your mobile device.  We also accept cash and all major credit cards in person.

Approval of Work Performed

At time of pickup, we will review the repairs we made with you.  By completing this process you agree that you approve of and are satisfied with the repair work performed. Repairs may be invisible once guitar is assembled. 

Satisfaction Guarantee & Adjustment Period Policy

Electric Eye Guitar is committed to providing the highest quality results for your instrument. If you find our modifications are not completely resolving the problem you were having with the instrument, you have the option to bring the instrument back to us for additional adjustment within 30 days of receipt of the repaired instrument.  Work performed by others or adjustments that change or remove our modifications such as: truss rod adjustment, string gauge change, new setup, or changes to frets, among others, will void this option.

Our Hours

We are available for drop-off and pick-up appointments Monday-Friday 10-6pm,  and Saturday 12pm – 5pm.  Please call or text (707) 500-0129 to arrange a visit. 

Instrument Pick-up, Storage Fees & Instrument Abandonment

By dropping off your instrument with us, you agree to the following:

  • You will pick up completed repairs in a timely manner and no later than the pick-up due date.
  • For completed repairs, the pick-up due date is 14 days following notification of repair completion.
  • For cancelled or declined repairs, the pick-up due date is 7 days following notification of the repair estimate.
  • Instruments left beyond the pick-up due date will incur an $80 storage fee with an additional $20 per week thereafter.
  • We will make reasonable attempts to locate and contact the owner using provided contact information, social media, or community outreach where appropriate.
  • After 60 days and completion of reasonable attempts to find the owner, the property will be considered abandoned.
  • We will dispose of abandoned instruments at our discretion in order to satisfy service and storage fees owed.
  • By dropping off your guitar with us, you wave any right of law suit to recover the value of property properly determined to be abandoned. 

Using a Case

We strongly encourage that you drop off your instrument in a protective case or padded bag. This is for your instrument's protection when being moved and stored in our shop.

Expedited / Priority Service & Guaranteed Delivery

When able, we are happy to offer expedited service for an additional fee.  The nature of the job, and turnaround time needed, will determine the additional fee.

Cell Phone Courtesy

We cannot expend evaluation time waiting for customers to complete phone calls. Out of courtesy, we ask that you refrain from cell phone use while in our shop. 

Pets

For liability, safety, and precautionary reasons, we do not allow pets in the shop or on the property. If you come with your pet please be prepared to leave them in your vehicle for the duration of our appointment.
